Considering the music in this Sunday's worship service, a new thought occurred... Do we REALLY stand with arms high and heart abandoned in awe of the one who gave it all? How many times has His glory and grace been right in front of us, and we've depended on ourselves to provide the sustenance to see us through?
Romans 3:23 tells us '...all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.'
...but...
Philippians 4:13 tells us '... I can do ALL things through Christ, who strengthens me.'
Not SOME things, not a FEW things, not MANY things... but ALL things.
The next time you are standing in the midst of personal confusion, stand with arms high and heart abandoned. Give your burdens to the one who gave it all. God's grace and glory will prove you can do ALL things... for he will give you the strength.
